Internship
Finding an Internship
The key to successfully finding an internship in Washington is to start early. Popular internships such as the White House, the CIA, the State Department and the FBI have application deadlines up to nine months in advance. And remember that applying for an internship is much like applying for college — assuming you will get the only internship you apply for might leave you scrambling at the last minute if you are not accepted. Applying to a few different kinds of internships that interest you will give you some options.
